161 TEAM DAISY RACING???...

I don't know, you wait months for new content, and then, just like buses, three articles arrive at once! If you have been paying attention, you will know that R&R have a new car for the trip and are thinking about ideas for decoration and theme. I sent them a link to the article the other day, and Richie responded with an AI-generated image of a Q2 in blue with full rally markings.

The livery included their granddaughter's name and the day she was born as a number - very fitting. The mock-up looks incredible, the Q2 as a gravel-shredding, forest-blasting monster, being hurled at the horizon at lunatic speeds, conquering everything in front of it. I can't see R&Rs Q2 emulating this lunacy; they are far too sensible drivers for that, plus there is no gravel on our route!!!

They both love the idea of the 'Daisy 26' theme, though, so maybe the Gulf Racing theme is out, and a bespoke look is on the cards?

Maybe they could combine the two themes? Use the Gulf colours, but replace the word 'Gulf' with Daisy? It would definitely fit our shonky design ethos.

There is already precedent for name changes: Dirty Martini has been rechristened Dirty Martin, the John Player Special Abarth is Just Please Squint, so why not Daisy Racing using Gulf colours? It continues with the rally car theme but is bespoke and personal to R&R.

Anyway, it is none of my business; it is their car and their design, but I can see a trip to the imaginarium for a thought shower in the next few weeks...can you tell I'm back at work now after the holidays? What I can't do at work is have a bit of blue sky thinking while necking a high-quality IPA, something I will definitely do with my fellow rally competitors.
