255 TOP 5: LAUGHS...
We have been home for a couple of weeks now, and it is almost time to put this part of our life behind us and focus on the future, so what better time to look back with a top 5? Today it is the Top 5 Laugh Out Loud Moments. 5. The Padded Coathangers We decided to take part in the quiz on the ferry home, and our hostess asked us to choose names that were clean and could be shouted across the bar. No problem, our usual team name was wheeled out: ladies and gentlemen, your Pad

251 KODAK MOMENT...
The guys at Bust Rallies HQ had a dig around the back of their digital camera and eventially found images of our little convoy crossing the finishing line in Casino Square, Monaco, opposite the famous Café de Paris Hotel, surrounded by Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porches. Not going to lie, we were really disappointed not to have these pictures, as making it to Monaco with the other competitors was the culmination of the rally, something we had all worked really hard to prepar

241 DEAR DIARY, DAY FIVE…
Dear Diary, I'm writing this update while sitting in bed. After three days of running to a deadline, meeting the Rally crew, signing in and then heading out across Europe, it is good to have a bit of a break. As I always say, never underestimate the power of a good lie-in. Oh, and I’m so hungover. I'm hung like a horse over. I'm hung, drawn, and quartered over. I’m hungover and over and over. 240 DEAR DIARY, DAY FOUR…
Dear Diary, The second day of the rally started by forking out €60 for the daily tankful of fuel. There are things I’ll miss about the trip, but making a sheikh richer each day isn’t one of them. We met the whole motley crew at Das McDonald's; the face on the woman serving was a picture as a tribe of hungover, toga-wearing Englishmen (it was the fancy-dress theme of the day) ordered McWrap Rührei Bacon and “der coffee”. After pictures and collecting our challenge sheet, Lisa

239 DEAR DIARY, DAY THREE…
Dear Diary, Today was the big day, the start of the rally, which meant putting all the graphics onto the car…a task made more difficult by the incessant drizzle which soaked us and left a slippery film all over the car. Eventually we got the job done, and the car looked boss. I’d arranged for a photographer to meet us and take some glamour shots. The rest of the team were gobsmacked that I’d done such a thoughtful thing for us all. Lisa was even more gobsmacked when the ph
