187 PUMA THE HOUSE CAT...

So the new kicks have arrived! We are the proud owners of Puma Speedcats, driving-inspired trainers. They look much better in the flesh (suede) than in the pictures, if I'm being honest, and they certainly give the racing driver vibes.

They are lovely and sleek, and fit surprisingly well given their slender design. The uppers are really soft, and the bottoms have a tiretread pattern with the Puma logo right in the middle.

Mine match our team colour scheme perfectly, Lisa's not so much! As reported before, she wasn't going to wear 'manly trainers in a manly colour', so plumped for Berry Alpine and Alpine Snow, which look cracking to be fair.

Lisa is keen on tops that match her colour scheme. I've tried arguing with her that the Martini Racing Team have a very distinct and recognisable palette, she counters that she doesn't care, she wants some pink tops. Don't be surprised if you see me cutting about Menaggio in a pink top with our logo all over the front.

On top of the t-shirts/polo shirts (colours to be confirmed), we also need colour-coordinated pants/shorts, and possibly a branded zip-up hoodie/softshell in case it is a bit chilly at the top of a Swiss Alp - heaven forbid!

We have a couple of months to sort that out, though, plenty of time for the boss to grind me down and get me kitted out in a beautiful shade of blush/cerise/rose, etc.
