261 JUST GAVE...

It has been a little while since I updated the blog, but today seems an apt day to add something. Our JustGiving campaign officially ended today. From now on, if you want to donate to New Start, it will need to go directly via their own link; there will be no more ARMCOB donations.

We are incredibly proud of the amount of money YOU have raised for an amazing cause. £3,655 in donations with a further £821 in Gift Aid means that New Start have £4,476 added to their coffers to help them continue the fantastic work they do over in Wythenshaw. 

Mad to think that our initial target was just £1,000 and we thought we were being cheeky/ambitious asking for so much. We knew we had good friends, family and colleagues when we raised over £600 in our first day.

After that, we upped the target, and you guys smashed through it.   

We want to give a massive shout-out to all the anonymous donors who wanted to give but expected no recognition. We wish you had left your details so we could thank you, but we respect your privacy.

Also, thank you to the people who clicked on the wrong link and donated directly to New Start by mistake. Despite our incessant spamming, it seems the message of how to donate didn't always get through! Hey, it all ends up in the same place; that is the main thing!

Finally, on behalf of Lisa, Richie, Rachel, Carl, Matt, and me, I want to say a massive heartfelt thank you for all your support as we attempted this challenge. Not only for your donations, but also for all the messages you sent, the supportive conversations we had, and the love you gave us. You will never know how much you helped us.
