We leave Bastogne and push on through the Black Forest towards Freiburg. Like many locations on this trip, I've heard of the place but know almost nothing about it. Once again, it is time to dig and discover more about this mystical part of the world.

The Black Forest, or Schwarzwald in German, is a forested mountain range in southwestern Germany, in Baden-Württemberg. Known for its dense woodlands, charming villages, and scenic beauty, the Black Forest is a famous destination for outdoor enthusiasts, history buffs, and anyone interested in German culture and folklore.
