14 IT'S A NO FROM ME...

We caught up with our other good friends, Tony and Julie, and asked them if they were interested in a jaunt to Monaco in a tiny city car.  It was an instant, emphatic, but polite no!  However, they might be interested in the villa part, like Derek and Nikki.  Swings and roundabouts, I guess, one less car in the convoy but potentially two more people paying into the villa pot.  

If we had 10 people and that place in Les Issambres was still available, for example, it would cost just £450 per person for a week in a gorgeous villa in the South of France. The people flying would need to add a couple hundred pounds for flights to Nice and put some money away for spending, but it would cost significantly less than the £1,500 per person our last holiday cost (that was all-inclusive, though, I guess).
