Now that we have a plan for getting the logos on the cars, we must decide how to create them. The easiest way would be to print them out, stick them to the magnet, and lash them on the car, but where is the fun in that? The minimum effort feels like cheating, especially when we are going massively over budget on the cars.
So, to offset getting a free pass with the cars, I decided that we would create all the magnetic badges by hand using craft knives, scissors, and an armful of Sharpie markers. We would cut up the magnetic sheets and then hand-draw the logos, numbers, and stripes for the two cars.

This seemed like a good idea a little while ago, but now it sounds like a nightmare.
Before we proceed, we must test the materials. I need to get a sample sheet to confirm its adhesion to the car and assess its ease of use.
Equally important is the Sharpie ink's 'run-proof' quality. We don't want our hard work to be ruined by the first spots of rain. We might need to consider investing in a spray-on clear coat to protect our logos, or perhaps wrapping the stickers in clingfilm could be a viable solution.
