I've made a QR code for this website.  It may seem a bit pointless to you reading this as you are, well, here, but it will be good to put on the cars once they are all dolled up to provide a quick link to the site.

A QR or 'quick response' code is that little digital square you see dotted about these days. They are a quick way of directing someone to a website on a mobile phone without the faff of typing in a long address. Just point the camera at the image and click on the link; voila, the page appears.

We can also add it to business cards, posters and even t-shirts if we get around to creating custom duds for the trip.  One is rendered in Martini blue from their core colours, and the other (right) is supposed to be black and gold for Team JPS, but it is only gold if you think a sunflower is gold!

We can add the website address, too, but a QR code makes it feel a bit more professional, in my opinion.

Obviously, nothing on this website, the temporary modifications we plan to make to the cars, or the planning so far is even close to being professional; we are more enthusiastic amateurs, but the code helps add a veneer of competence.

I'm happy we have another way to boost engagement and guide more people to our little website. Once we sign up to raise funds for the charity, the more people who come here, the more chance we have of filling the coffers.
