I stumbled across this on Facebook. A madman/genius (delete as applicable) has created a one-of-a-kind 'Smartborghini' built on a Smart ForTwo.
Created purely for fun, it originally had a roof, but he decided to cut it off since there wasn't enough headroom. It features a fully custom leather and Alcantara interior and has only 80 miles on the clock since new! With 65 bhp, it delivers pure, raw insanity - ahem!
The headlights and taillights are painted on for now, but the car could be road-legal if they are swapped for real ones.
This was completed before 3D scanning and CAD were available. The entire body was hand-sculpted from automotive clay before fibreglass moulds were created.
Thousands of hours went into creating this, and the builder estimated its cost could easily exceed $80k. The quality speaks for itself; it turns heads everywhere it goes!
