133 IT'S IN THE CAN...

All this talk of jacks and tyre swapping has reminded me that the foam that comes with my car is well past its sell-by date, so I needed to address that quickly. A quick search showed that something called Tyreweld looked like what I needed.
I’ve checked, and a can of tyre puncture sealant is just £8. It is clever stuff, designed to temporarily seal a puncture and get me back on the road. This ingenious little can repair and reinflate without damaging the tyre.

According to the blurb, I should be able to drive up to 100 miles at 50 miles per hour before the tyre is checked. As a bonus, Tyreweld is made from a water-based foam, so it can be washed out of tyres after use without causing damage.
Even if I did have a spare, this is a quicker solution than messing around at the side of the road trying to swap wheels.
Ordered, delivered and now in the grab bag as part of my ever-increasing emergency kit. I even bought Lisa a can. I should have saved it for a few weeks and given it to her for Valentine’s Day; who said romance is dead?!?!
