15 READY PLAYER 4...

While at my Goddaughter's 30th birthday party (I'm so old), I chatted to Dave and Jacky about the rally.  Dave was instantly in, but Jacky needed to think about it.  When I saw them the next time, they were both 100% committed, which was great to hear.

Dave was keen on driving a red Abarth.  That's no problem; plenty are available at decent prices, but what about a race team theme?  After much research, there are only two real options: the Marlboro theme used on the Mitsubishi rally cars or the Ferrari racing livery they use on their GT cars.

The Mitsubishi cars are all red with white wheels, a big white triangle on the bonnet and black and grey stripes down each side.  They look really distinctive. 

Ferrari cars are similar in that they are all red, but their car has the Italian flag's distinctive green/white/red stripes across the bonnet, roof, and sides.  It comes with either black or sexy gold wheels.

Initially, it was a no-brainer for me.  The Ferrari looked cooler, plus we would be driving an Italian car through Italy - perfect!  But the thing is, the more I look at the Mitsubishi cars, the more I'm drawn to them.  Not only do they look good, but they also fit more with the rally car theme we were initially going for.  

Dave and Jacky will ultimately decide. What I do know is that we might be spraying another set of alloys!
