While at the birthday party (in July), we eventually got around to swapping Christmas presents we had bought each other for the previous year - look, we have been busy, right? Sometimes, the universe gives you signs, and the gift I received from Dave and Jacky was definitely a sign!
They bought me some organic London gin produced by an Italian company called Engine, which came in a little oil can! Tell me that isn't a sign!
So, what does the gin taste like? I don't know; I'm saving it for either the start or end of the trip; here is the bumf about it, though:

Engine Pure Organic Gin - a distilled gin hand-crafted by master distillers, produced in small batches with 100% organic premium Italian ingredients
Tasting Notes: The intense entry of juniper alternates with a pleasant, slightly bitter note of sage and lemon essential oils, which closes with a sweet taste of liquorice and rose petals.
Premium Ingredients - Alta Langa sage to chill, lemon from Sicily to energise, Calabrian liquorice root to digest, Damask rose from Piedmont to relax, spring water from the Alps to refresh, essential oils, junipers berries from Tuscany and wheat alcohol.
Best Served - Engine Pure organic Gin sparkles on the rocks for an authentic tasting experience that enhances its unique and fresh taste and also shines in tonic water and cocktails
Iconic Design - Engine is an award-winning quality gin with disruptive aesthetics that celebrates the imaginary connected with the world of motors and the cult myths of the 1980s
A little oil can filled with London gin, created in Italy using water from the Alps. Come on now...
