179 LOCAL LIVERY LOGISTICS...

I've been scouring the internet for a good, reliable local printer to see if they can help us with our livery. There are lots of choices, but I was struggling to find one that stood out and that I felt comfortable with.

I was in the office and noticed our company had big displays, so I got in touch with our Communications Manager, who tipped me off to a company called Colour Create. She raved about their service and quality and advised me to drop her and our company's name, as it might help convince them to get on board with our project.

I rang them and explained what we wanted: printed stickers for the magnetic strips we are lashing to the cars, so we won't damage them.

They confirmed that they can do even better: they can print directly onto the magnetic strips, and they also have a machine that can cut them to shape - result!

They confirmed that if we went to their premises, they could scope out the work, let us know our options and even produce sample work for us if they took the job on.

We can discuss timescales and the all-important costs - I'm not reluctant to pay a fair price for the livery, but if we can get a small percentage off, it means we can eat while we are on the trip (the prices are spiralling).

I have a good idea of the design for Carl's JPS Abarth and have asked R&R to mock something up to show them, but if they don't have anything yet, then it isn't a big issue; I'll just ask for a rough price for a big sticker on the front, both sides and the roof! Looking forward to visiting them next week!
