215 A DESIGN FOR LIFE...

The organisers of the rally finally came through with a vector graphic of the official rally log, which means I can get on with the final requests for the livery.
Speaking to Lisa, we agreed that another '27' on the back would look good next to the Martini stripes. We can put the Bust Rallies logo on the other side too, so it looks nice and symmetrical. We will do exactly the same on the front too.
I've also asked the guys if they can make us two smaller stickers with QR codes for that link to the soon-to-be-created JustGiving page. They can navigate around the site at their leisure, but will land directly on the page asking to stump up their cash! I'm going full on Bob Geldof - "forget the blog, just give us yer money!"
After that, I think we are done:

Bonnet - Bust Rallies logo/Martini stripe/'27'
Roof - Martini stripe
Boot - Bust Rallies logo/Martini stripe/smaller '27'/UK sticker
Sides - New Start logo/QR code/Dirty Martin stripe
I'm hoping the car will look like a mini rally car with all the sponsors on it, at least from a distance. Ok, so it isn't the original Lancia Delta design, or even the second choice 'upper half' livery, but I'm really pleased with how it has turned out (even if I can only see it in my mind's eye).
The 'Dirty Martin' graphic is brilliant. I showed it to my brother-in-law, and he agreed. Lisa was talking about adding some bling to it, but that is a surprise for another day.
Once the black wheels are back on the car and the big, red brake callipers are fitted, I will settle... right up until something else comes up and it is back to Colour Create for more stickers. Oh hang on, we wanted a Scalextric logo and a 'Je Sui Scouse, Kidda' badge, didn't we?!
