24 FLAPS...

Looking at images of the mighty Lancia Delta rally car, I noticed that it sports magnificent red mud flaps…I will definitely be getting a set of them for the little Abarth.  I looked online, and they want £75 for cut-to-shape, Abarth-branded flaps.  That is too rich for me.

I had a mooch around and found a company that sells red mud flaps with fixing screws for just £20 - perfect. 

Well, I say perfect; they fit several vehicles, so I will need to cut them to shape, drill out the holes in the right place and then stick them to the car.

As mentioned, I have no precision or patience, so the chances of them fitting and looking good are slim.  I’ll get a set for Carl and spray them gold; he will love that.  We will look like dandies posing around Monaco with our wonky flaps!
