Over the last few weeks, I have made many changes to the website. I thought it would be a good time to document them, more for my own benefit than anything else, but someone out there may be interested.
Design:
* The Racing font is now used for the ABARTH RACING wording on the main header.
* The Racing font is now used for the titles in the section headers.
* All the page headers are now all the same size
* The page header images are now at 50% transparency, as it looks better
* The text on the horizontal menu has been set to black if unselected and red when selected to match the site theme.
* All sections have been resized to fit properly on the mobile version of the site
Pages:
* The WELCOME page has been trimmed down, and the background image has been replaced with one from the AA Route Finder website, which looks cleaner. An introduction to the adventure is included.
* The BLOG page now has a header section with an appropriate image. There are many posts, some serious, some not so serious, but variety is the spice of life. There is also a nice chequered flag wallpaper on the page.

* The ROUTE page now has a header section with an image of a Fiat 500 on a map - pretty good, I reckon. I’ve again used images from the AA Route Finder website for consistency and added each leg from Liverpool to Monaco. Again, the same chequered flag wallpaper is on this page for consistency.
* The DRIVERS page now has a header section with an image of Formula 1 drivers - a bit of a stretch, I agree, but it will do for now. I’ve used images of cartoon characters as a temporary fix and added some text as a placeholder. The same chequered flag wallpaper is on this page, too, again for consistency.
* The VEHICLES page now has a header section with an image of the dashboard of an Abarth 500. I’ve used images of cars from the internet as a temporary fix and added some text as a placeholder. The same chequered flag wallpaper is on this page, too, again for consistency.
* The TECH/CLOBBER section is gone, replaced with the BUST RALLIES section detailing the event we are participating in. It now has a header section with an image from their website of an estate car made to look like the ‘Mutt Cutts’ van from Dumb and Dumber. The same chequered flag wallpaper is on this page, too, again for consistency.
* The CHARITY section has a background made from the tiled image of the New Start logo. A brief explanation of what New Start do and why it is important to us is now included.
Finally:
The site now has a .COM address and hosting for the next 2 years.
