35 SPINNING AROUND...

I've been thinking about the mechanics of spraying the wheels, and unless I'm doing it outside, it might be tricky. The plan was to spray them on the workbench in my garage, but spinning them around to apply an even paint coating would be awkward. Then, I had a flash of inspiration.
When I lived at home, I had a portable TV to watch shows and play computer games. As I did one lying on my bed and the other sitting in a computer chair, I bought a rotating base to let me spin the TV left and right to face me wherever I was. I could use one of these for the spraying session.

Think about it: a piece of board on top of the rotating base, the wheel on top of that, 360* access with minimum effort - result! Spin the base as we apply the undercoat and the final coat of colour. It was a flash of genius, I reckon.
The base cost is just £6 from Amazon, too, which makes the purchase almost a no-brainer; there is certainly little risk in picking it up.
It seems like a good idea in theory, but it would be interesting to see how it pans out in practice.
