44 LIKE A WHEEL WITHIN A WHEEL...

I was looking at wheels again today. I keep going back to the manky black ones that some idiot has attempted to 'pimp' by spraying them themselves - I mean, what kind of tit would do that?!?! Ahem.
I had them on screen and was talking to Carl about them over the phone when Lisa walked into the room and said, "You are not buying them!" I explained my budget and that wheels in better condition cost twice that price and she replied: "Okay, I'll give you half the money". Blimey!

With a much bigger budget, the world opened up to me. After some quick digging, I found a set of wheels I was after that just needed a bit of TLC but came with Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres on them with tons of tread - YAAAS!!!
If I bought the manky black alloys, I would still need to fork out new rubber for each one. This is the best of both worlds!!!
I sent the seller a message on the eBay app asking if they were cracked, had any visible welds, and held air properly. A few minutes later, he confirmed everything was good! After a couple of messages, he also knocked £25 off the asking price, which was nice.
The only issue is that they are in Stroud, 150 miles away. Carl said he could help me there because his sister works not far away. She could pick them up and bring them to their company base, where they could be transferred to his son Matt, who would bring them to Liverpool. He needed to sort this out, but it shouldn't be a problem.
I mentioned this to the seller, who said he was good if I didn't wait too long. I explained that I was trying to get it sorted for next week, but I could collect them next Saturday at a push. I'm hopefully picking up the 'Barth next Friday in Poole, and Stroud is on my way back - it will be some mad trip this!
I'm just waiting for confirmation, and then I'll buy them. Shit just got real!!!
