I stumbled across this image on Twitter the other day and couldn’t help but share it. Behold the magnificence of this Toyota iQ in full Castrol Racing colours. GB Wraps created this brilliant version of the tiny city car, showing what professionals can do.
Now, we could get the car wrapped, but that would go against our ethos of trying to create a little rally car as cheaply as possible. But I will admit, the little iQ looks stunning! I would be ecstatic if we could somehow create something even half as good as this.

I love the theme, too. The Castrol colours are iconic in the Rally world. The Celica was the first to participate in the WRC in the distinctive livery in the late 1980s before it was transferred to the Corolla in the late 1990s.
The two cars were also stars of video games like Sega Rally, and I have a real soft spot for them.
I had toyed with using the Castrol theme instead of Martini for our little Abarth. It would look excellent, but driving through Italy made me lean towards Lancia’s colours. It could still be an option if anyone else joins our adventure!
The guys at GB Wraps have done a fantastic job of turning a tiny, cute little city car into an object of desire. Okay, so there is no poke to accompany the show, but it doesn’t matter, as it is clearly just an exercise in what can be done with a vinyl wrap.
